I live inland about an hour from the coast but some gulls come up along the river in the spring and hang around for the summer. I've not come close enough to one yet to catch them with the camera though.DawnTreaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13956409908791716009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-654265037255757089.post-7027003280319695842010-05-03T10:01:46.364-05:002010-05-03T10:01:46.364-05:00Even living most of my life close to the ocean, I ...Even living most of my life close to the ocean, I never get tired of them. As you said, they've gotten so used to constant supply of food at the beach, they'll swoop right down to your blanket and wait. But of course, if you feed one, the whole flock comes ready to fight for their share of crumbs.

Man - I wish I was at the beach, instead of sitting in this cubicle on the gray rainy day :(Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-654265037255757089.post-25154761253607792632010-05-01T23:01:16.262-05:002010-05-01T23:01:16.262-05:00When I moved from Cape Cod to Idaho, I knew I was ...When I moved from Cape Cod to Idaho, I knew I was going to miss the ocean...then the first time I went to WalMart three seagulls landed in the parking lot.
