Unrestrained Exhilaration of Youth

During the guns and hoses event this past week-end, I noticed a young boy bursting with pride.  He was so proud that his dad was a fireman but even more so....that his dad was going to fight.  When his dad stepped into the ring, even though my focus was on the fight...I kept glancing over to the kid cheer-leading his dad to victory.  At the moment when the referee raised his dad's arm to announce to the crowd the winner...I made the decision to turn the lens towards the child to get his reaction.  I missed the arm raised in victory but captured victory in a child's face.
