I know this isn't a Spring like picture but I had an experience last evening that brought me back to the day that I took this picture last Autumn. We had storms move through the area last night. With the storms came a driving rain that drenched the fields after somewhat of a drought. It was as if, the land drank in the water and in appreciation, put forth that wonderful musky, fresh air that invites you breathe to in as deep and long as you can just to take it in.
Last Autumn, while visiting my favorite stream, I got caught in a downpour. It left as quickly as it came. When the cold Autumn rain hit the still warm ground and water in the stream, the mist released that same fresh, clean smell. I am sure that you know that same fragrance laden air...that feeling that makes you just want to stay in the moment.
When that happens this Spring, take the time to enjoy the moment because it doesn't last long.
