A journey into the sites, sounds and fragrances experienced while in the moment. Consider this an invitation to take your own journey into the images from your perspective and experiences.
Widowed two years ago, her husband "Bennie" had to be put down due to age related issues. In Evansville we all miss him but Daphne still seems to grieve. They had been together for decades at our zoo. Hopefully, she will meet someone soon...thanks to the zoo search committee. I will update you once the news has been received.
A Picture is worth a thousand Words or is it the other way around?
Thanks for visiting my Narratives site. My photo's can be viewed and purchased at my ETSY Shop. There are actually two parts to my photo work. The image and the narrative that allows you step into the photo with me. I will share my thoughts at the time I took the photo and then the rest of the trip is your own personal journey. I plan to upload a photo with a narrative at least once per week, more frequently if I can find the time. So stop back by the blog if you find it engaging. Please feel free to comment about your thoughts on the image...what is your interpretation? I would love to have you share your journey through the photograph.
When I began my blog, I would note the location of the visitors and thank them for viewing and following the blog. I still thank everyone who supports this type of narrative but the visitors are now from many countries worldwide so I don't have room to name all the different areas, but thank you so much. It is because of your interest and support that we bloggers....blog!

That is sad but I hope there is a new beginning for Daphne, with a new male friend.
xoxoxo ♡
Ah, she's a beauty. How old is Daphne? A fellow would be lucky to have her!
Diane,
I think they are doing a search for a companion. I will let you know if they find one!

Shabbygirl,
She has to be in her 20's or maybe even older. She has been a fixture at the zoo for years.
