I am drawn to bright colors....must be something in my DNA. That is why I take so many pictures with HDR processing. The colors of Colmar were amazing. Each building has it's own personality....from an Irish Bar to a cafe in the canal District. As you can tell, I fell in love with Colmar.

Glad for you that you weren't disappointed with your choice of town to stay in! I can see it must be an "El Dorado" for your photography with all the colours and details.

DawnTreader...thanks so much for catching up! Yes, the entire trip was like a living postcard for me. I took over 12,000 pictures...had an external hard drive with me.
My wife actually set up "camera free days" so I could interact with her!!! I may be exaggerating a bit but not far off!
