With Christmas fast approaching, I think of the families all over the world preparing for Christmas Morning. This year more than ever, I think of how the meaning of Christmas differs from family to family. For some, it will be a renewal of faith, the birth of the Christ. For others it will be a chance to reunite families that have been torn apart by war. Yet others will struggle through the holidays attempting to put together lives and relationships that have been tainted by economic perils, job losses or the first Christmas without a loved one. As we celebrate Christmas, it is my hope that everyone finds their own peace and renewal in the holiday season.
