Dan, there is absolutely nothing left for me to say about this post. Your narative was perfectly written. Beautiful photo and beautiful story behind it.
Thanks Heather...this is one of my favorites from the day.

A beautiful heartfelt prose. Something which goes so perfectly with the photograph. What a lovely picture; the color, lighting, the moment captured to perfection. I am so enjoying this.

Pura,
Thank you...I appreciate the kind words from someone with your talents. It was a photo I enjoyed working on for both the image and the subject matter.
Dan
Definately, a favorite of mine!! Definately! Dan, the texture of the photo is a wonderful touch and your words...to have been there and experience this, you've enabled it.
I really like this one!
Thanks Vermont Heather...
They were a very interesting couple to talk to...obviously retired, they both travel full time from one reenactment to another. They did sell their items but I got the idea that their craft and time together was more important at this stage of their lives than making a sale.

One other thing Pura...
Now that I know your name, I can call you Sharla!
Dan
I love the look of concentration on their faces. Lovely post, Dan. Thank you for sharing such beautiful photo and prose.
Thank you Septembermom and have a great weekend.
Dan
I really like how you've altered the photo- it makes it look almost like a sketch- just lovely. And I really like your prose attached- what a wonderful concept to enjoy.
Thanks Dani,
I was trying to enhance the contrast in the image and along with that...it turned out to appear as a sketch as you mentioned.
Dan
I am very nearly speechless. (nearly...you know me...rarely speechless...) ;^)
Dan, you make it so difficult to select a favorite. Every day, it's a new favorite.
At first glance, I thought maybe you had posted a painting by another artist.
If a picture paints a thousand words, what you have captured here, Dan, would take at least ten thousand.
:^)
Cynthia...you are too kind! You mentioned painting...If I tried to paint, the photo would look like two stick figures sitting on a rock!
Dan
I have to get out my thesaurus! How many ways can I tell you how wonderful your photos are???
Shabbygirl...
No words needed....just by visiting, you support my efforts.
