Double Post Today!

I just finished this photo and wanted to get it up on the blog. I will be posting the entire house later but I was pretty excited about the colors and detail in this image of gingerbread on an old house in Evansville.

Well definately! I would have been too excited to wait on sharing this, as well. Good to see that you have a bit of impatience in you ;) hahaha

Love the colors!! Can't wait to see the rest.

Beautiful! Like everyone else, I'm loving the colors.
By the way, the light bulb just went off in my head. I know some people from Evansville! I don't know how big of a town it is, though - and they've been gone for quite some time, so you probably don't know them... but anyway - there's my random thought of the day!! :)

OMG - I love the green siding shingles - gorgeous!! I like all the colors, but the green is my favorite. You have a true eye when it comes to details in your photos - guess that's why I like them so much!

Thanks for the encouragement! I am really having a great time experimenting. I am probably beginning to bore the blog followers with this HDR stuff but I just can't tear myself away! By the way, I know you are an expert at this technique and any constructive criticism is welcomed....that is how we learn.

Dani,
It was one of those pictures for me that I love to look at...one of my favorites in this technique so far.

I will trade you names...I have a very good friend and past colleague who lives in Birmingham...that is where you were raised...right?

His name is Danny Duke...ever heard of him?

Nope, never met a Danny Duke.
What about the Phelps family? Bob, Deanna, Kyle and Blake? They're my Indiana folks.. they live in Florida now, though. Although, they were just in IN for a wedding last weekend, so I know they still have some family there.

Nope me neither, although Phelps is definitely and Evansville name. I probably know some of thier relatives. Evasnsville is about 150,000 population.

Everyone has seen enough HDR now that I won't mention it any longer...I think you will know when that technique is used...it produces such a vivid picture.
