Was I transported to the early 20th century?
I know this is another car image but quite different than the ones a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure the purpose of this gathering ...only three cars and some old tractors in the background. Unlike the earlier car pictures that spotlighted chrome pipes and flames...this gathering was more sedate. The setting was perfect and the cars were just randomly parked. I found myself looking around for young men with letter sweaters that read "Yale" or Harvard". I felt I materialized into "The Way we Were" or "The Sting". All I needed was a croquet mallet and some brown and white saddle oxford shoes...I would have fit right in.
It truly must have been exciting in those days to jump in a motorcar for a Sunday drive....such a novelty then.
Have a great Sunday!

Those cars had character and style. My husband would add that they had "lines". Those must have been fun days driving around enjoying the novelty of motorcars.
I ran out of adjectives to use in comments about your photos some time ago so I guess I'll just use the same ones over. This is just stunning. You have certainly done the cars justice.
Thanks Septembermom...have a great Sunday!

Tricia,
Don't worry about the adjectives! Just your visit makes my day!
