On this Labor Day I hope you are able to celebrate the last remnant of the Summer Season with friends and family...and may the coming year be a productive time for you...if you are employed my prayer is that you keep your job and if not employed ...it's my hope that relief will come soon for you and your family.

So often in the 30's and 40's the family farm gave way to the industrialized urban centers with the promise of a better income and the hope of a bright future. Today as we move towards the second decade of the 21st century...we find the landscape changing again. We are moving solidly into the information age and away from the industries of the past. It is time to rethink our career goals and make sure we can make the change or help revive past traditions. Whichever you choose...I wish you the best of luck.

Have a great Labor Day.

Dan

Beautiful autumn colours in the picture! Thanks for the link. I still got curious why Labor Day in America is at the beginning of autumn while in Europe it is at the beginning of May. According to one article I found, America chose another day because they found May 1st too connected with socialism.

So in your country, Labor Day is celebrated at the End of Summer. In ours, it marks the Beginning of Spring.

so pretty. I love this picture of the house. It reminds me of a spooky haunted house only in the day. I love what you do with your colors.
