The browns of endless fields and trees who have laid bare their souls to the winter winds have arrived in Southern Indiana.

With one passing of Nature's hand, the pale season has set in. All we can now hope for is a snow to brighten the colors and lift the spirits. All those who worked these fields not long ago have hibernated for the winter...waiting for signs of life to return. Short days, long nights and the bitter wind lends itself to indoor activities by a fire and the warmth of family.

Come on Santa...we could use a lift.

That sky is amazing, you can just feel the chill in the air. Really a beautiful picture.
It's about 10 degrees here, wind around 35 mph. I'd be more than happy to email you some snow! Ha-ha!

Everything in this picture looks perfect. The combination of the colors is like the rainbow. The blend very beautifully with each other. The color of the sky, that of the house and the grass around it is just perfect.

A job well done.
