Each Season bring it's own beautiful landscapes. The contrast of Summer and Winter in the Midwest gives nature a chance to show her best sides and allows us to experience the camaraderie of an outdoor summer festival sharing conversations and feeling the warmth of the summer breezes and then allowing us to experience the solitude and quiet of a freshly fallen shroud of snow. Both...at the same time beautiful and invigorating.
Contrasts for me is what keeps me interested in life...the changes in both mood and activities from one season to the next keeps me looking ahead and wondering what the next day will bring.

the second has got to be from our famous ice storm last February.
Enchanting!
Stunningly beautiful.
Beautiful contrasts Dan, I especially love the second photo of the snow and the colour of the sky.
Not a day goes by that I don't find something beautiful in Nature and you are so right we always wonder what beauty the next day will bring... ♡
Love the reflections!!
I dream of summer looking at the rainbow reflection of cars and suddenly the snow brings me back to reality! Both pictures are a visual delight.

Jaime...yes the frog follies...a great place to be on a hot August day...I could use some of that heat today! Also...yes... the ice storm! Our house is behind those trees and that is my car!

Sunny...you all are probably getting the same winter weather we are today. How would you like to be sitting on the side of that lake today enjoying the warmth of the summer sun?
