With several postings of darker pictures I thought I would brighten things up a bit.

I long for days like the day this was taken last Summer. We had a long hot stretch of weather...so humid that it in its own way was as uncomfortable as the deep freeze we are experiencing now.

A storm front had passed and it cooled more that 30 degrees. Along with the heat...the humidity left as well and for that one day in August...It felt like April. It was a glorious day. On days like today...dreary,cold and damp...I cherish the memories of that springlike August reprise.

How do you always know EXACTLY what I need to see each day? Today is a gray, dreary day... and my hair dryer broke this morning, so I feel particularly dreary, sitting here at work with sopping wet hair.

This picture fills me with hope for the bright, sunny, WARM days of summer - days when wet hair simply means I climbed out of the pool or lake to air dry in the sun for a little while and soak up some rays. :)

Oh yes, this is beautiful. I imagine an early morning kind of warmth, sprinklers misting the lawns, and chorus of birds singing.

I would like to walk where you take pictures, but somehow it would not be the same. Wonderful work!

Heather...those memories of Summer sound great! We are getting the same weather front that you are today...rainy cold and dreary.

Shabbygirl...you just brought back great memories of Phoenix for me...thanks. Going to meeting out there in March...waking up and walking across the hotel complex and seeing the sprinkling system watering the perfectly green grass and manicured gardens...I miss those days.

Such a lovely photo, that gate looks inviting.
I am wishing for some cooler weather, it was so hot and humid today, then a thunder storm, not enough rain to quench the thirsty earth and now the humidity is worse than before... I love your 'cool' photos Dan. ♡
