Yes, I agree. You have to go back...otherwise your thoughts on this would have rested. ;^) (Who knows what surprises are in store?) Among other things, you know, you could get some great shots of the stained glass from the inside-out!
;^)
Lovely.

I love this picture. It's so peaceful.
Dan, this formatting brings me back to the way things appeared in my childhood. Everything shined with wondrous opportunities :)
Beautiful church and picture. One detail caught my interest especially: Is that an anchor instead of a cross at the top of the tower?? (symbol of hope) I've never seen that before. (If you don't know, you'll have to go back to find out the story behind that if nothing else!)
Absolutely magickal!
What a pretty scene. There's usually a reason that sometning keeps speaking to you. It may be for a totally different reason than what you think.
Cynthia...good point! Although I should probably go back for other reasons!

Lly...It was a very peaceful evening and quite with the new snowfall.
Dan
Heather...don't you wish you could at least visit those times again...if just for a moment or two?
Dan
Dawn Treader....great observation! I have seen the "Anchor Cross " symbol before on churches...I think the Methodist church may use it.
But after your comment I went back to the picture and then did a Google image search and found many examples but none exactly like this one with one side of the cross bar turned down...and the other side straight! I will have to check it out.
Dan
S Barbie...it was a combination of the time of day, the snow and the country church that came together!
Thanks,
Dan
Shabbygirl...you are right...a week after the photo...I am still thinking about the church!
