If you are searching for the perfect white for the final touch...forget Home Depot or Lowes...just look to nature.
I pass by this "white" house an matching barn almost every day. In the summer, the contrasting brightness of the two buildings against the greens of July makes the buildings stand out like jewels on the Summer landscape. But in Winter...they look creme compared to the true white of a new fallen snow. No wonder when "Walt" was looking for a name that expressed the purest of the pure, untouched by what this world can taint...he chose the name "Snow White". We attempt with our technology to re-create Nature's colors but can only attempt.

White on white - we've had a lot of this in Kentucky over the weekend. Great snow photo!
How right you are! I'd love to see this same photo in summer.
A winter tapestry of white, simply beautiful.
Sunny :)
Bobbi...I know what you mean! We had about 8 inches herein Evansville as well...but it was a perfect snow for pictures!

Shabbygirl...thanks and I will return this summer for the same vantage point to contrast the difference.

Sunny...I appreciate your patience with "snow" pictures...I am sure you have seen enough snow this year!

White on white is just about all we've seen around here for a month now...! Whereever I point my camera laely, I keep thinking: But I already have this picture...
Dawn Treader...I know! The white is driving me crazy! I need a good dose of Spring...even though the snow made for some good pictures here over the weekend. We had about 8 inches.
I am going to try some of your ideas...I saw your really nice picture of the dragonfly on "Soaring" which reminded me to try some macro shots. Something I don't do much of but make for interesting photos. There is a whole new world out there at 2 to 3 inches away!
