Serenity

Again taken at that time of day when the noise has died down...only an occasional bird could be heard now and then...serenity enveloped this lake and nature's sunset glowed from the depths. One of those times that make one glad to be alive and just have the opportunity to "be" there.

All of us have our favorite places to be in the quiet of the early evening...if you have a lake nearby...take a walk just before sunset with your camera and capture nature's best. Tomorrow I will post a picture taken as I turned 180 degrees and saw the pastoral beauty behind me as well.

Septembermom...thanks for the comment. I am right with you there on the issue from your blog...it is such a source of frustration and waiting games. Best of luck.

Beautiful. As you know, any place near water is my happy, quiet place. There's something so serene and peaceful there. This picture really is amazing Dan. :)

The perfect title for this lovely scene with amazing reflections. A great place to sit and listen to the silence.

Idyllic. I could quite happily sit upon those water banks and dream for hours on end.
Beautifully captured.

Dawn Treader....I know you often take pictures of the water as well. There is something about the water that calms one.
