Often when I see a field of flowers such as this I think of the poppy fields in Wizard of Oz. Just as Dorothy and the Lion...I had the pleasure of laying down in this seductive blanket of fragrance to take the picture. I used a very small (F22) aperture to get the maximum depth of field. By doing this everything from just in front of the lens to the moss covered tree in the background is in focus.
The pleasures of Spring are so welcomed here now after the long, short, dark days of the gray season have now passed.

All I can say is...breathtaking.
Sunny :)
Yes, just beautiful. I'm imagining the smell of all those flowers!
It's beautiful. I've been trying to take some pictures of fields of flowers myself this weekend, but neither I nor my camera is able to focus on everything at once... ;)
I have to agree with 'breath-taking!'
The bounty of Spring ... flowers in abundance, just beautiful. xoxo ♥
Thanks Sunny...breathtaking and a fragrant breath at that!

Shabbygirl...it was like standing in a florist shop.

Dawn Treader...I would guess that your camera has an "aperture" setting on the dial. Check and see....if so...you can set the aperture to the highest number to get maximum focus range.

Dan, my camera is a simple lightweight point-and-shoot one. It only speaks to me in little pictures ;)
Dawn Treader..if you have a small point and shoot...you have gotten some great pictures with it!
