Dan, beautiful photos and setting. Such an inspiring post, something I need to remind myself of often - in these words you've shared.
Why do we put these desires off? They return to us for a reason, not out of selfishness but for a purpose greater than our own understanding - this I know, and yet, I still do the same...put it off.

Heather...I guess it comes down to priorities. This thing called "life" often gets in the way of our dreams. The day to day responsibilities often dulls our creative side...yet we have to take care of our responsibilities. It is like a viscous circle.
Dan
There will be a time for that dream to be realized. The creative within you will keep knocking on your door. Love the photos! Hope your wife had a wonderful Mother's Day!!
Alone with a touch of heaven. I hope you find time to make your dream come true.
Sunny :)
Looks like a lovely spot. Have to say though, I'd need a different set of furniture to accomplish anything. I wouldn't last two hours sitting on that chair, however charming it may be to look at... ;)
Dawn Treader...It is funny that you mentioned the chair. If you look at the post just before this one...of the dog in the wooden frame. That frame is actually the seat of this chair. It was originally a wicker woven seat ...long since gone and there is now a square hole where the wicker was. I took a picture of the seat and that is the frame you see around the dog picture.
Dan
Dawn treader..it is also the frame around my camera in my new avatar.
Dan
Ah. I did actually notice that unusual (and charming) frame in that picture yesterday, I was just too tired to think of a comment. I also noticed you had changed your avatar but I couldn't make out what it was supposed to be!
Thanks for explaining :)
Dawn Treader...I have come to admire those who can come up with interesting avatars. That is truly an art that I have not learned as yet. To be able to create an interesting picture in such a small space is difficult if it is done right. I am still searching for the perfect avatar!
Dan
We all await your words. Seriously.
BTW, Beautiful photos!
Dan: I agree about avatars, it's an art in itself to find or make a picture that looks good that small and also manages to "express something".
Thanks ShabbyGirl...I think all of us bloggers have those nagging dreams about writing a book!
Dan
Dawn Treader...I think I have told you but I really like your new avatar...it ties in so well with your literary passions.
Dan
Thanks Dan. I happened to see the ship in a window I was passing. Cropping the photo I found that it fit the avatar size. And since DawnTreader is the name of a literary ship... At least for people who know that, it gives a connection!
