Sunset San Diego

Suring a business trip to San Diego in the heat of the Summer the entire harbor was awash with the intense sunshine that only August could bring...even to San Diego. This was taken during the last throws of the sun with the humidity settling in the harbor. A cold front was crashing into the intense heat wave and a storm had been threatening all day.

Las year I posted a photo of a lightning strike very near a sailboat in the harbor. That photo was taken later this same day. Once the clouds broke loose it became a summer storm mixed with heat lightning and torrential downpours.

To quote a line from a 60's song: "It never rains in California..."...I am here to say that song although a great anthem song of the 60's...was wrong.

You have such an eye Dan! Well, I mean, you probably have two, but....
Beautiful pic! I remember that song. Somewhere in those lyrics, doesn't it also say "it pours?"
