Conversation, Espresso and a Croissant

I found this small nook in the basement of a restaurant / coffeehouse ...a place to re-connect, to actually talk...to have a conversation without the distractions of mall traffic, laptops or smart phones. A place to have those types of conversations again...like the ones we had when we were dating. Before all the responsibilities when we were still innocently idealistic and could open up at the drop of a hat. Those places and opportunities don't resurface much anymore.

If that was outside under the stars it could be 'Cafe le Soir' in Paris as painted by Vincent van Gogh.
Nice to find a place to re-connect and have an intimate conversation with the one you love, never lose that openess, always communicate your feelings, you are so fortunate to have each other. xoxoxo ♡

Great shot. It looks like a scene out of a movie. A scene "set up" to do just what you said.

Dianne...I think with time we loose that ability to openly communicate as we did when the relationship was still new. It is good to come back to the beginning now and then.

Shabbygirl...you are right...it is geared towards eye to eye communication with no other distractions.

I feel as though it beckons one to come and have a truly meaningful conversation...face-to-face. Something that is becoming a rarity in today's fast-paced, technology driven world.

Interesting artwork and it does certainly bring back an atmosphere of "good old days" with more time to talk.

J...thanks for stopping by! Yes the soothing blue lights added bit of surreal privacy to an otherwise hectic restaurant upstairs.

Dawn Treader...sometimes I just want to abdicate all responsibility and enjoy the surroundings! But I can't really do that now.
