Great photo dear Dan, I can remember being a child, our imagination is boundless, every adventure seemed possible. xoxo ♡
That is one big bow. I like the gold and brown colors of her dress.
Is it PC to say that I used to play cowboys and indians? When I was a kid my Dad made me the coolest bow from a tree branch and string. When I got a little older be bought me one similar to the bow in the picture, only smaller. I never liked it as much as the branch one.

It's a great photo for the theme, showing the communication between the two of them.
I love the expression on the boy's face, the wonder of learning something new.
awww, this is really lovely. another great moment. it's interesting as well.
Dianne...wouldn't yo like to go back to that time just for a day? I wonder with the perspective of age...what we would do?
Dan
Sunny...in my book..it is fine to talk about cowboys and Indians! I was right there with you...we probably battled each other at some point!
Dan
Dawn Treader...it was fun to watch the "learning experience" progress between the two of them. She finally gave up on the instruction after several attempts to teach him. In this picture she was actually placing his hand on the string of the bow.
Dan
HazyDaisy yes they both were having a great time and he was very excited to learn the bow.

Psychelyn...Thanks for the comment. I am glad you stopped by!

Wonderful! What a beautiful moment!

When growing up, we played cowboys and Indians, too. We called it playing "Daniel Boone." ;^)
