With the guitar project...I have been spending a lot more time in the shop lately. Even though we are now empty nesters...I would normally be in the shop by myself but with Scooter I always have a faithful assistant. Whenever I am in the shop...she is right there with me...her in one corner and me the other. I walk outside and just utter the word "shop" and she is more than happy to be my assistant. Her special place is under the desk in one corner. She is happy to wait there for me with her frog.
My constant companion is now 8 years old and often it weighs on my mind that she may only have a few years left...I will really miss her when she has moved on.

Great images. Don't know which one i like more. Your dog is so cute!
We just had to have our old dog put down the last of May...she was 14 yrs old. In the end it was a happy release, but still very hard to go through.
Awww...Scooter is so cute! I truly feel sorry for anyone that has never experienced the love of a dog.
Given that you took Scooter's picture, do we assume she took the one of you? Haha! Both are wonderful pictures.

Rose...those are always the hardest days and hard to forget. I had a German Shepherd that was "part of the family"...I had her put down when she was 14...she had severe hip dysplasia. I was there with the vet when she put her to sleep...I don't think I could ever be present at such a thing again.

Sunny...YES she took the picture of me! She is getting very handy with the camera...a bit hard to to hold the camera without thumbs but she manages.
