Wagon Wheels

Seeing this old wagon wheel in a yard recently made me question the reason why? Even though I love old wagon wheels and if I had one...I would display it in my yard as well because they hold so much history...what roads they traveled, how long ago, what the wagon looked like etc....but I wonder if in the 22nd century if residents will display old Perellis or Michelins in their yard???

What is the attraction of wood over rubber?

I have seen a couple of houses displaying Goodyears in their yard, usually next to an old washing machine! Haha!
Personally, I don't think you can compare wood to rubber. The old wagon wheels have so much character and charm, besides...they don't go flat :)

The wagon wheels do seem to have a story to tell. Great picture.
