Thanksgivings Past and Present

Hi Folks!

With Thanksgiving approaching, I had to jump on and wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Since it has been one month since my last post some of you may pick this up after the holidays (probably not checking everyday)...if so I hope it went well for you and your family.

My earliest memories of Thanksgivings past are ones of snow covered fields and early morning wake up calls. For a child of 7 or 8...it was a big deal to get up at 5 am with Dad and go hunting. Even though I don't hunt anymore, those Thanksgivings are etched in my memory like they were yesterday and very good memories they are.

All of us have our own Thanksgiving experiences and memories...I hope this one is everything you want it to be and you have a chance to connect with family and friends.

On a personal note, I still have to just periodically post due to having to be in 300 places at once! I will get back to my beloved blog world as soon as I can...I miss you guys and thanks for checking in.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Dan

Not living in America, I do not celebrate your Thanksgiving holiday... But I wish you a good one! Good to see a glimpse of you ♥ (PS. Winter is early here this year. Snowing here again since yesterday and I think that is our third snowstorm this November. Way too early... I'm not happy about it...)

WooHoo! There you are! Hope everything is going well for you. We all miss your posts!
I'm thankful for holidays like Thanksgiving that give us a reason to gather with family & friends, and cause us to pause to consider what we're thankful for.
Hope yours is wonderful!

Mr Dan...From our home to yours...
Happy Thanksgiving :)

Your astonishing imagery certainly transports and reminds us, most poignantly...
about the true meaning of the holiday.

Continue to find blessings, my talented friend :) !

Pleased to see this post dear Dan, you have been missed. I hope you are keeping well and look forward to your posts when you come back to us again.
I looked up that Francoise Hardy song on Youtube that you mentioned, she was very beautiful back then and what a sweet voice.
As an Australian I don't celebrate Thanksgiving but many American people living here do.
Happy Thanskgiving to you and your family, take care dear friend.

Dianne. xoxo ♡
