Bitter winds replaced by sun's warmth

The image of the buffalo was taken on the same day, a short distance from a picture posted earlier last week.

In the Alaskan spring the marshlands become alive again...not only with desires for survival but with a celebration of the season's passing as well. Even the native wildlife acknowledges the debut of their two months in the warmth of the short Alaskan summer.
