A Nice Surprise!

I had wanted a picture of the Trinity Methodist Cathedral for quite some time. Several times I tried and the doors were always locked. Earlier this week I tried the doors and they opened in a slow wide swing. I stepped into the vestibule and there was a painter inside the hallway. I asked if I could take pictures in the cathedral area and he said sure...just watch where you step. I thought that was a strange response and then I stepped into the main worship area.

I was shocked at what I saw! A complete makeover of the inside of the large church. I felt as though I was gazing upon a huge archeological dig with the draperies and tools and scaffoldings.

I wanted pictures of the old cathedral but what I got was a glimpse at the future of the old building and what a view it was!

Now, I'm an atheist but there is no denying that the religions have some lovely architecture.

You'll have to go back when it's finished! Is that a wide angle lens you're using or a panorama?
