Europe Bound at last

Early this spring I had the honor of photographing an old cathedral in Evansville.  I was struck by the glow and golden light of the a room off to the side of the main chapel.

I posted this in anticipation of the rooms....cathedrals....antiquities....I will be photographing over the next 6 weeks.  We leave tomorrow for Europe.  10 days in Switzerland and about 35 days in France.  It is a trip I took 40 years ago and am now returning.  I have dreamed this trip and have already taken it in my mind so many times.  I will be posting images and commentary on my thoughts as we travel.  It is yet unknown how much connectivity we will have to wi fi.  We will from time to time be staying in some very rural villages and then spending the last 8 days in Paris.

So as soon as I can, I will post for the next 6 weeks from Europe.  By the way, Heather....don't worry about scooter...our son is staying with the house and taking care of her!  6 weeks is just too long to put her in the kennel!.....

Au Revoir et a bientot!
