London...1970...War Protest. While looking for an image to reflect the upcoming New Year, I came across a photo I shot of security guards outside of Buckingham Palace. In the depths of Vietnam, I looked at the guards much differently than I do today. Increasing tensions, prospects of terrorism early on in the new Obama administration prompts respect for our first line defenders. May everyone remain safe and secure throughout 2009.
