With the last vestiges of twilight on the wane, I'm certain that we surprised each other. In the low visibility, she couldn't see me but she knew I was there. With a slow confident pan from side to side, she was at the same time daring me and warning me not to follow. I was more than happy to comply. Alaska's Kenai Peninsula was this wolf's home...not mine.

What an amazing picture! I love wolves. Nothing beats seeing wildlife in there natural home :)

To me wolves know something that we don't...they always have that look of some knowledge just under the surface.
