The tulip is displaying it's most heartfelt invitation to any travelers on the breezes that may be drawn to it's sanctuary. Although cliche it may be, there is no better example of the "circle of life". One species depending upon another for it's preservation and guarantee of future generations. The bee will unknowingly assist in this dance of fertility. Picking up the pollen so readily released to it's legs and deposited on the tulip further down the fence row.

Thanks for the support on the cliche thingy! I hate cliches but sometimes there is just no other way to express something than a cliche! Lynda, how true...everything has been said and done...I guess that is the true challenge of a writer...to find another way to express.

Dan, I think the same thing goes for the visual artist. It's the uniqueness of the presentation that matters, and how effective it is. Subject matter is pretty well exhausted!
Lynda...no doubt. A great example is your "Living Surface"...some people see a rock, you see an entire universe! But thanks to you all people can enjoy your interpretation. Your "fractal" designs (as I see them) also give a very unique perspective of our all to normal world.
