This photo may be a bit difficult to get your bearings on. I twas taken in a tank and you can see the water line about half way up on the photo. The poor turtles are unaware of what is lurking below! You can see the head of the gator rising just above the water line checking them out. Because of the refraction of the water it looks as though the head of the gator is detached...but I can assure you...he was well aware of his surroundings!

It IS like looking at two worlds but both the turtles and the gator share the same worlds both on land and in the water.

Very cool! I like how the refraction looks like the gator's head is detached. Great composition!

Thanks Bobbi..I wish the gator head showed up better on the photo...some folks miss the head altogether.
