Scooter is 7. We are celebrating!

Happy birthday to the most lovable 100 pounds of Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier one could ever hope for! She threw her back out last week while doing the "Wheaten Run"...this is a typical maddening run that for some reason...all Wheatens do! The video is not Scooter but she runs just like this! She is recovering and after a round of steroids...hopefully she will be better. Without a doubt...the best dog I have ever had.

Just a selfish post today about my dog! And believe it or not...she doesn't shed!

Have a great Weekend.

Dan

Happy Birthday to Scooter! What a pretty dog:) She likes the camera too, I see. No shedding, that's an added bonus.

Happy Birthday, Scooter! I checked out the "Wheaten Run." That would throw anyone's back out! :-)

Dan, I LOVE your dog!!!! I think I've told you that before. Happy Birthday to her and you've honored her well with this photo!

She's beautiful..and she doesn't shed? Wonderful.

I want another terrier pooch. Our Happy dog was mixed with Border Collie and maybe a kind similar to Scooter..but some sort of large terrier breed. She was momma's girl :)

Get selfish, Dan...share more of your life with us. I like it and you enable us to know you better.

What a fantastic composition and shot, Dan. Lovely eye contact, texture and colour.

I'd say it was a definite hanger!

Cynthia....

She is not lacking any chew treats! When we took her to the vet for her back...we were given orders to go on a diet!

Aw, what a cutie. Hope she's better.

BTW, my cat is named Scooter, too. Scooter Pie, actually, but usually she gets called Scoots, Tootie, or Scootie Doodie. ;-)

Jennifer...conducting a psychological experiment here...does the name you call her depend upon her mood or your mood? Just wondering!

Have a great weekend.

We the Pieces...that is the best kind! Like grandparents...you get the benefits but don't have to take care of them!

Dan, this might just be the most beautiful dog portrait I have ever seen. Really, it is gorgeous.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOOTER!

In reply to your experiment--I'll have to conduct my own, but my hypothesis is that it's my mood. I'll watch and see. ;-)

I love this picture. And I love my dog also. One of my favourite songs is I Love My Dog by Cat Stevens. "You may fade, my dog will always come through".

Dan Felstead said...

Monica...I know the song well! Having come of age during the Cat Stevens era. Tea for the Tillerman is an all time classic album/CD.
