Testosterone Overload!

It is often said that a guy buys a Vet, Shelby Mustang or Prowler because he lacks self-confidence and uses his car as a crutch. Well let me tell you...I would give up my self confidence for a week just to drive this bad boy around town!

It is obvious that Detroit designs cars with personalities...this is one that the "nastys"....the "cocky"....Type A personalities should drive...every hard driving, competitive, entrepreneur cliche applies here!

Nasty or not....I wouldn't mind what they said...just as long as I got to drive it!

On the Drivers Ipod Play List:
Bad to the Bone
Highway to Hell
Baby you can drive my car
Taking Care of Business
Mississippi Queen
Complete ZZ Top Discology
Addicted to Love
Every Disco Song ever written

On the DVD Player:

Wall Street
Top Gun
The Unforgiven
Risky Business
Christine - Stephen King
Carwash
Borat

Great cars, Dan! I'm really not into cars, but my dad is, so I've forwarded these pix to him. He has been a self-employed "body man" for almost 50 years and is THE MAN to take your car to in Harrodsburg. He also restores vintage cars - I'll have to take some pix and send them to you.

Fabulous, Dan. There's nothing like a car with attitude!

I've never been to a large show 'n shine (the ones I've attended are in various parking lots, but still well-attended). Am I understanding your post correctly in assuming that each driver/owner has an iPod playing music and a tv playing movies? Or did you simply interview them for their tastes? Either way, what a great idea.

Bobbi...I would love to some some pics of his shop. He has most likely worked on cars very similar to the ones I am posting!

Those cars are full of personality! They must be fun to drive. All these years driving a minivan, I think I would maybe be intimidated. My hubby would say, "Hand over those muscle car keys." I think I would. I would have to scratch that gorgeous finish!

Love it! And I love, love, love your music picks!! Now I have ZZ Top running through my sleepy head. Maybe I'll grab my iPod and listen to a little Tush or Sharp Dressed Man and see if I can wake up a bit :)

Actually neither...I just thought it would be fun to speculate the what if....If these folks had an IPOD and DVD player...what would they listen to? So I am just adding my own opinion here and making up the play lists. I think a person's play list or bumper stickers tell you a lot about the person. I am posting a VW van later this week and the front license plate says "HALUCIN8" ...I would guess that Stephen Covey's audiobook on how to use the Franklin Planner is NOT playing on that Ipod! This has been a fun week for me and the play lists!

Heather...without a doubt...SHARP DRESSED MAN would be wafting over the airways in this car!

I am right there with you...instead of the minivan (kids are grown)...I drive a Subaru and my wife drives a Volvo...so I guess you could say I am living out my wilder days through these car pics!

In the past however...my college roomate drove a VW Microbus...we had a few interesting trips in that one...no pun intended!

Ha! Good one, Dan. Cudos on both the list idea (great lists btw!) and the Covey comment. Which prompts me to dig out my copy of 7 Habits. I know ... I'm such a nerd!
