I can't wait to see more of your son's photos, he has an excellent eye for finding the unusual in the usual, hope you know what I'm trying to say.
Enjoy your evening.
Sunny :)
Sunny, I do know what you are saying. I have seen some of the pictures he took and many of them are close ups...he often looks into areas I have ignored. There are some interesting things when looked at from 4 or 5 inches away!

Zach is definitely a natural. At first I thought this was a shot of yours! There is so much yet to be discovered behind the lens.
Great shot. I can picture the owner too ... some old curmudgeon who runs out onto his front porch with a shotgun shouting "Git off my land you varmits!"
P.S. Good luck with your exams, Zach.
Pura..true...and the perspective that you all bring to the photos is always just as intriguing.
Dan
Monica...I will pass long your well wishes to Zach...he has had his Algebra midterm and did well with it.
Dan
Great shot by Zach!
Dan, I'd be honoured if you would like to visit this post of mine at The Island of the Voices. I'm presenting you with an award, with or without its original "stipulations" as you please. (I have just learnt how to insert a link into a blog comment! Hope that works. Otherwise just go to the blog, you'll find it.)
Dawn Treader...I will pass the compliment to Zach.
I visited your blog and thank you so much! I explained the details on your blog.

Fantastic! I totally got the message from the dog. The lighting really intensifys that feeling!
Shabbygirl...I know...he was daring anyone to approach the house!
Dan
Awesome Zach! He captured a great shot here. What a face on that pooch:)
Wonderful. Your son has a great eye. Love the subject.
Septembermom...the picture of the pooch was cropped from a larger image of the old house but the pooch was so intriguing ...it became the focus.
Dan
Thanks Tricia...the dog was a very interesting study in personalities!

Hee, sorry so long in replying. I need to figure out better how to get my energy back up. Have had some hectic days and trouble sleeping!
Actually, Monica, believe it or not, the owner came out while we were taking the pic. I'd say... late 30's probably. And very amused at us taking so much interest in his window.
I'm gonna toot my own horn and say he'd totally have missed the opportunity if I hadn't spotted the dog and said somethin'.
What can I say? We make a good team.
