Beautiful. ;^)
I would like to be sitting right there on the side...listening to the chatter of the brook as it tumbles over the rocks.
There is one that I pass every single day, twice actually, when driving the school bus, Dan. It's more like a brook but there is not one day that it doesn't shout out at me for attention - tucked below, behind the tree's with roaring waters flowing over the rocks.
I WILL - some day (hopefully sooner than later) find my way there with some extra time just to admire it with my canon :)
Cynthia...I know you have written before on your blog about your love of streams...we share that same feeling. They are so peaceful and relaxing.
Dan
Heather...please do! There is nothing like having the time to spend by a stream...and wanting to take pictures of it....is a great excuse!
Dan
A stream is a peaceful place. Lovely photo Dan.
Septembermom...thanks for stopping by. It is good to read your comments again after being gone for 4 days.
Tomorrow I will start posting a series of photos I took over the weekend.
Dan
This is just lovely.
Thanks Lly...these days of Autumn are dwindling!
Dan
I love the movement and colors in your picture. I can see the Autumn leaves being whisked down stream and hear the water rushing over the rocks.
I remember using stepping stones to cross a small stream, I should say slippery stepping stones...that water was cold!
Sunny :)
Sunny...I have memories like that as well and you are right...slippery and cold....emphasis on "cold"!
Dan
Very very pretty.
Great effect on this image! Love it!
Rebecca...thank you so much for the comment. Streams are one fo my favorites to photograph...mainly because I get to sit by them for a while!
Dan
Mersad...thanks. This was a six exposure HDR. That way I was able to get the color depth and intricate water patterns.
Dan
It looks as if the water is on fire! The contrasting colors are beautiful!!
Thanks for the comment Molly and thanks for stopping by!
Dan
Dan, this is gorgeous. I need a mountain vacation so bad right now. The sound of water over rocks, the crunch of leaves under my feet, a cool breeze rustling the leaves overhead.... *sigh*
Maybe one day soon...
Heather...great to hear from you. I hope things are going well for you and right about now I bet you are having visions of that trip to Yellowstone!
