I love the irony of that word on the car on the poster-or-whatever-it-is on the wall... "Beneficial"
What awesome photos Dan!
I don't think I've ever been in an airport in the wee hours, but ordinarily I kind of enjoy people watching in them. All those lives brushing by one another.
DawnTreader...I didn't notice the word! Thanks for pointing it out...there is nothing more beneficial to the digestive track that the excellent airport food!!! How ironic!

Yes Shabbygirl...it is a great place to watch people and wonder where they are headed...the later it gets...the stranger the clientele!

I'm not sure how I missed this post...you have captured the feeling of the moment, a great people study.
I think that 'wee hours' feeling applies to other transportation terminals too. A friend came to visit via bus, which didn't arrive until late and the normally hustle, bustle terminal was downright creepy!
How is Zach these days? I miss seeing his pictures.
Sunny :)
Sunny...that is true ...the later it gets...the weirder it gets! You would think I would fit right in!
Zach is working and going to school...he doesn't seem to have the time to post...I am trying to get him to post some more pics but since he is on a roll with school...I hate to interrupt!

Airports can be interesting places to see lives at a standstill or in motion. Great picture.
Septembermom...Speaking of airports...on September 11th...I was in Jersey City at the Hyatt. I couldn't get back to the Midwest of course...3 days later searching for a rental car I ended up at Newark airport Hertz rental. The airport was completely void of cars and people like a ghost town. I never thought I would see such a sight at Newark! I hope I never see it again.

Beautifully captured!
I felt that too..when i was recently on one flight to the next while making it to Canada! I mean airports being absolutely a different world altogether!
