I love the colors with the icy windowpanes, it really makes you want to go inside. I expect it has that wonderful earthy smell to remind us of warmer days ahead.
Sunny :)
the juxtaposition is priceless..i think that lures me, like a siren call...
Love these pictures, the contrast between the cold outside and the glimpses of the warmth inside...
Sunny...I look forward to stepping inside this Spring and yes the musty smell will be a boost to the spirit just to know that Spring will be around the corner.
Dan
Muse...Yes the dead like coldness outside against the vibrant green of the ferns just beyond my reach was frustrating.

Thanks Dawn Treader...I am sure you are tired of the cold as well. You have had it worse than even us this year.

Oh, very nice, Dan! I love the misty colors through the frosty glass...and the violet tint on the door!

Love the contrast....of life...and stillness.
Amazinf images. Very otherwordly.
Stunning! Your colours are so breathtakingly beautiful. You have turned such a simple thing into something quite magnificent.
It gives me that anticipation excitement for spring. Love the color and life suggested by these photos.
Thanks Cynthia...it was unbelievable to be as cold as it was on the outside and inside it looked so warm!
Dan

Thank you S. Barbie...I am always interested in Porches and Green houses for some reason. They both fascinate me. Greenhouses are truly a world all unto themselves almost self sufficient and porches hold so many stories of conversations, interactions and friendships.
Dan
Septembermom...I am with you...bring on Spring!
Dan
Dan, you have a truly beautiful, alluring and unique way of seeing, perceiving and capturing the world (and the worlds within worlds)around you thus making your images rather intoxicating to behold.
S Barbie...you described it well...this was truly a world within a world!
