Your hummingbird pictures are really great, Dan. I like how you bring that pattern of the fence into the picture and getting the colours to match as well.
Your hummingbird pictures take my breath away!

So, so beautiful. The make such wonderful subjects, don't they? I always think about how tiny their veins must be. A weird thought, I know, but it's amazing to me.
How cool to have your photo in the museum!!! I'm sure many of your photos could be in there.
Beautiful iridescent rainbow colours Dan, the hummingbird and the fence look so lovely. xoxo ♡
Your hummingbird pictures are always perfect to me!
Dawn Treader...the fence behind the bird was truly an accident. I didn't plan it that way. After seeing the how the fence made the background...I have several pictures now of hummingbirds against the fence.
Dan
Sunny...thanks for the kind words.
Dan
Shabbygirl...I think of the picutre you posted with the oriole looking intently at the approaching hummingbird...that was my favorite.
Dan
Thanks Dianne...Dawn Treader from Sweden once mentioned that they do not have hummingbirds in Sweden...do you have them in Australia?
Dan
Thanks Septembermom...I appreciate the comment. I sometimes worry that posting another hummingbird picture may get boring. But I just can't help myself!

Dan, I remember from your earlier humming bird pictures that you said you didn't think of the fence until afterwards when you saw the photos; but it still takes some talent to make use of it, to make just the fence stand out and the rest of the background "disappear" etc. And since you say the wire fence is green I guess you must have done some colour changes too... or...?
