Fluid...Stop Motion

I was watching the kids play in a fountain and knew that there should be a picture here somewhere.

The child with the blue hat had the idea of filling his hat with water and putting it on his head...every time he would slap on the hat the water would follow his swinging motion a split second afterward.

I took several pictures trying to capture this fluid motion and finally got one. With the telltale path of the water...one could imagine the motion even without an explanation.

Aaaaah...cool. Refreshing. Water. Nice capture, Dan.

The kids were playing with water balloons in the back yard, throwing them through a baseball catching net and splattering one on the other side, yesterday.

Wait until you see these pictures. The balloons would get caught in the net, twisted, but not pop. That was pure frustration and fun. How can you choose just one of the many pictures you take??? I just can't. And why can't I share them one at a time, like you do?

Dianne...I imagine you are a bit cooler right now! I watched a program last night about Darwin Australia...supposedly it has the most sever thunderstorms on the planet due to it's location in the trade-winds.

Monica good to hear from you. It wasn't patience as much as just taking tons of pictures until I got the one I wanted...well....I guess now that you mention it...it was patience!
