This bear was so expressive. The bright blue eyes and expression lines of his face spoke volumes. He is a Sun Bear. There have been days that have been so hectic...so frustrating...so irritating that I have sat dumbfounded, spaced out at the end of the day just wanting it to be over. When I saw the expression on this fellow...I felt like I was looking in a mirror!Dan

Bears are very intelligent creatures and have feelings just like us.
That is why I find it so sad that they are exploited and treated so cruelly in some countries as dancing bears, bear baiting and the other inhumane practice of bear bile farms for Chinese medicine.
I have joined two organisations in the hope that these cruel practices can be stopped.

Oh what a face! He's probably not too happy sitting on that hard cement and he looks kinda lonely.
I've never heard of Sun Bears before...I hope he gets a comfy place to sit and someone to talk to.
