The redwoods of backyard gardens are peaking this time of year.
Asparagus is ready for the picking and as I viewed it from a distance...I realized it was casting shade on the rest of the vegetables like giant redwoods. To the critters that roam the garden floor at night...these hardy trunks of green soar skyward. Our environment on a miniature scale.
Have a great Saturday!

'Stalking' the giant Asparagus is not for the faint of heart! Can't you just hear Marlin Perkins saying that? or maybe you don't know who Marlin Perkins is! LOL
Don't mind me, it's past my bedtime!

Actually I should have said maybe you don't know who Marlin Perkins WAS...I think he passed on years ago.

Sunny...YES...I certainly know who Marlin Perkins was. I know I seem like I am only 22 years old but I am PLENTY old enough to remember him!
