I have been out of the loop!

I was abducted by an alien mother ship while researching a lost tribe in New Guinea....ummm...While on a safari in the deep heart of Africa I approached the shore of Lake Titicaca only to find a life and death struggle between a water buffalo and and an alligator. While attempting to break up the scuffle the alligator severed my right femoral artery and I was rushed into life and death surgery.....uummm...I was preparing food for a local soup kitchen and when I opened a large can of french cut green beans...I severed my right ring finger on the lid and had to have it re attached....I sequestered myself in my studio in order to finish my latest Broadway script since the deadline was fast approaching.....uummm...I won the Power ball lottery and had to go underground for a couple of weeks until my lawyer and I worked out the details on how to distribute the funds to the followers of the blog in a fair manor.

I have always had a difficult time lying...it shows on my face (if you could see it now)...I can't even tell a small white lie without the entire world knowing what I am up to! The truth is that I reached CRITICAL MASS! I hit a brick wall.

After 691 post over 2 years not missing a single day...the time allotted to me in the 24 hours cycle just ran out. I won't bore you with all the things going on in my life but I think of it as the surface tension of water in a glass full of water. Fill up a glass to the top and look across the edge as you add one drop at a time...the water begins to ever so slightly rise above the edge of the glass in an arc...finally that one final drop hits the surface of the water...that drop that breaks the delicate surface tension and the glass finally overflows. I was the glass and that final small drop of water finally hit.

Nothing serious....I just ran out of time. I have no intentions of closing down my blog. Over the last two years I have met so many great people on line and you have been so supportive of the blog and I so much appreciate it. I am just going to have to spread my posts out for a while and not post every day. When the time crunch eases...and it will...I will get back to posting every day. So please bear with me and check in every so often if you would to keep the fires burning. Thanks for all of your kind inquiries both on the blog and by email...I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the understanding and have a great weekend,

Dan (in need of a day with more hours)

So glad to hear that everything is okay. I've hit a bit of that brick wall as well.
Ummmm, I enjoyed your lies, er, excuses, no, I mean, your stories. hehehe. Always creative, no matter what. :)

Hope things slow down for you :)

I'll believe the first half of the first lie. After all, it wouldn't be the first time... hehe... Good to see you back on the blog, Dan! :)

Oh, Dan...I've never been any good at untruth's myself. Yes, it shows in my face. I am good, however, at forgetting things...terribly good at it, although, I can't take credit for it...it just happens ;)

good to hear from you
like your photo
makes my face crack in the corners

Seems to be a lot of this going around lately, including with myself.
It happens. It will get better.
Onward!

Good to hear that everything is OK with you, we all need to take a break sometimes, so enjoy slowing down a little so you are not rushed for time.
We will all be here when you decide to come back. xoxoxo ♡

(Love the pic...of course.)
The wonderful thing about Blog World is that it is your world and you dictate the rules...(of course there are citizens who want to make sure that all is well...as long as that's the case...carry on, King Dan.)

Oh Dan, you are funny, but you know I have no idea how you lasted that long and every day. We all hit the brick wall one day, I did many times, but I just don't post everyday or I just post whenever I have time. Remember one thing, you are in control and not the blog. Our real lives are more important....good luck my friend. Anna :)
