Paws for Charity

I have some news! For the second year in a row, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to participate in a great charity project. The picture above of Beloved Scooter ...our Wheaten Terrier was chosen for publication in this year's book. It couldn't have happened to a nicer dog!

The book will be published in April and when it is available I will let you know more information in case you are interested. All proceeds from book sales goes to a charity for breast cancer research - The Avon Corporation. Here is a brief description of the Charity:

The mission of the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade is to raise funds and awareness for advancing access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on the medically under-served. From its launch in 1992 through 2007, the multi-faceted initiatives of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade have raised and awarded more than $525 million to the breast cancer cause worldwide. Funding is awarded to five areas: breast cancer education and awareness, screening and diagnosis, access to treatment, support services and scientific research. Avon now supports programs for breast cancer in some 50 countries around the world.

Also, I think that Vermont Heather and Texas Jen also had a photograph chosen for the book as well. If my info is correct...congrats to both of you.
